The Beach Hut

part of 'A Series of Dull and Meaningless Art' , Sicily 2016

The Beach House is a slideshow of a hut on a beach on the south coast of Sicily. I was fascinated by its abandonded nature during off-season, the white painted wood and the endlessly blue sky.
The background sound is from a recording of the exact opposite side of Sicily facing the waves coming from the north. The Beach Hut stands bravely between Europe and Africa.
