Looking into darkness to see light
"Looking into Darkness to See Light" is a dynamic exploration that embodies the essence of my artistic journey — a symbiotic conversation between self, environment, and the ever-evolving now. Rooted in spontaneity, the series captures the raw immediacy of each experience, utilizing an array of mediums such as video, photography, film, drawing, painting, writing, and sculpture.
This unfolding narrative delves into the intricacies of existence, blurring the lines between the personal and societal. It stands as a testament to the power of art-on-the-go, where everyday items and unconventional tools become conduits for authentic expression. The creation process becomes an act of shelter, inviting viewers into the intimacy of my sensory engagement with the world.
In this series, I break free from traditional artistic boundaries, allowing my surroundings to dictate the choice of medium. As a result, the work becomes a mirror reflecting the immediacy of my perception — a fusion of eyes, ears, tastebuds, skin, and profound reflections. It is a journey where spontaneity and intention converge to explore the beauty in the inexplicable.
Each piece, whether digital or physical, follows a set of transparent parameters — date, time, place, mood, genre, material, and size — creating a cohesive narrative that extends beyond the canvas. This transparency bridges the gap between observer and storyteller, inviting viewers to join me in decoding the visual poetry that unfolds.
"Looking into Darkness to See Light" is more than an art series; it is a symphony of experiences and reflections, an odyssey where reality and fantasy dance together. This dynamic exploration transcends traditional artistic norms, encouraging viewers to embrace the beauty of the moment and find solace in the act of creation. Join me in this journey where darkness becomes a canvas for the emergence of profound light, and art becomes a beacon guiding us through the complexities of the human experience.
